Original price was: $20.00.Current price is: $16.00.

This course will share an introduction to Performance Management, a sub-discipline of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practice. Designed for behavior analysts with little/no exposure to Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) or Performance Management, this introduction will provide context to how Performance Management came to be, how it is related to clinical practice and behavior analytic certification, and how behavior analysts can share the benefits of behavior science with the wider business community.

This course goes beyond the current BCBA and BCaBA Task Lists by introducing behavior analysts to Performance Management and Organizational Behavior Management (OBM)—an application area that is not explicitly represented within existing task list competencies. While the task lists emphasize behavior-analytic principles primarily within clinical and educational contexts, this course expands those principles to organizational systems, leadership practices, and workforce behavior. It addresses the historical foundations of performance management, the translation of clinical ABA concepts to business and organizational environments, and the ethical dissemination of behavior science to non-clinical stakeholders. By situating ABA within broader organizational applications, the course extends learners’ professional competence beyond task list–specified skills while remaining firmly grounded in core behavior-analytic principles such as reinforcement, measurement, and data-based decision making.
