17% of Autistic adults enroll in a 4-year college.  These individuals have a unique set of challenges, and often have very little support at the college level.  Through this session you will learn about laws and regulations which protect students with disabilities, college resources, and classroom strategies and techniques to support these students.  Providing a supportive environment to Autistics in the classroom will making college campuses more accessible.

Author/Speaker

Dr. Jaime Flowers is a professor of School Psychology at Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP). In California and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in Texas in the state of Texas, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Her current research interest includes behavior analytic ethics, and functional behavior analysis in schools.
