This course will examine Section 2 of the Behavior Analysts Ethics Code by utilizing case studies. This course is entirely text-based and does not include video content. It will primarily involve reading case studies that highlight ethical dilemmas outlined in Section 2 of the Behavior Analysts Ethics Code. Following each case study, you will be required to provide an essay response. You will also be given the chance to review the correct answers to the case studies and amend your responses to incorporate pertinent information.

Objectives
1. Understand Ethical Principles: Students will be able to identify and explain the ethical principles outlined in Section 2 of the Behavior Analysts Ethics Code through detailed analysis of case studies.
2. Analyze Ethical Dilemmas: Students will develop the ability to critically analyze ethical dilemmas presented in case studies and apply the appropriate ethical guidelines to propose solutions.
3. Improve Ethical Decision-Making: Students will enhance their ethical decision-making skills by writing essay responses to case studies, incorporating feedback, and refining their understanding of the correct application of the Behavior Analysts Ethics Code.

Dr. Jaime Flowers is a professor of School Psychology at Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP). In California and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in Texas in the state of Texas, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Her current research interest includes behavior analytic ethics, and functional behavior analysis in schools.
